(From Route 30 in Roxbury, take County Road 36, Kelly Corners/Denver-Vega Road until you reach the Denver Post Office. Bear right onto Dimmick Mountain Road and about a mile up near a curve in the road, property can be accessed via a private unmarked road. The property is posted and owner should be contacted for a visit. There is a right of way on the other side of mountain and property from Red Kill Road.)

Land use: The 220 acres are ideal for hunting, camping, hiking and snowmobiling and most other outdoor recreational activities. The land is heavily forested with many trails and a roughly .7 mile top to bottom trail to reach the 2600 ft elevation. The mountain top has been cleared to allow magnificent views and for construction of either a home or additional campsite. Due to plenty of maples and change in elevation, there are syruping opportunities for a pipe and tube network that can flow down the mountainside. Wildlife abounds with plentiful deer, turkey and small game.

Land description: Many decades ago, the property was farmed as evidenced by the numerous stone walls (miles of them). The land has been reforested and maintained as a natural site for outdoor recreation. The current owner has no plans for development and any lease is premised upon general maintenance of the property as-is. The views are unique and among the best in the Catskills.
